The Annual Shining Star Ball was held virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event featured a brief online program that included an update on how the pandemic has affected the individuals Clearbrook serves and the impact of your support.

We missed seeing you in person, and we hope we can count on your continued support. Our individuals need Clearbrook now more than ever.

Join us for 18 holes of golf at Ravinia Green Country Club in Riverwoods, IL. Not a golfer, no problem, join your friends on the course with the ride-along option!

Please join us for the new take on one of our signature events! The Friends Wine and Beer tasting event has taken place for more than 50 years.  Typically held in February, we are changing things up this year and hosting the event in June.

Join us for an evening of wine and beer tastings, open bar, food stations, raffles, silent auction, and dancing. You won’t want to miss this!

Join Clearbrook’s Associate Board for a fun night out in Chicago. The event will be held at Barcocina, a modern Mexican restaurant in Lakeview. Tickets are $50 and include one drink ticket and appetizers. 

Cash bar. Must be 21+ to attend.  

The Associate Board is committed to increasing awareness of Clearbrook’s mission to empower adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. They work to raise funds through two fundraising events each year. The board is made up of young professionals who live in the Chicago area.

Join Clearbrook for a round of golf like no other at the prestigious Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park on Monday, July 11. Registration coming soon!

Founded in 1896, Exmoor is one of the first three golf clubs in the Chicago area. It has a rich history of hosting golf tournaments including, the Western Amateur Tournament in 2012. Exmoor’s original course opened in 1897. Famed golf course architect Donald Ross redesigned the course in 1915, giving it the high-styled bunkers and imaginative green complexes for which he’s known. Course architect Ron Prichard restored the course in 2003. From the longest tees, it offers 6,849 yards of golf for a par of 72.

Join Clearbrook and Illinois State Representative Tom Morrison for a FREE Shred Event! On August 20 from 9am-11am at 746 Vermont St in Palatine, State Rep. Tom Morrison is partnering with Clearbrook to host a residential paper-shredding event at no cost. There is a limit of 2 boxes or paper bags of sensitive documents per vehicle. Documents will be destroyed by cross-cut shredding through the Clearbrook Document Destruction Program. Shredding will occur post-event according to the Document Destruction Program process.

Lace-up your gym shoes and join us for Clearbrook’s fourth annual Step It Up for Clearbrook. Participants can choose from a 5K run or a one-mile walk. Every step, and dollar raised, empowers thousands with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their fullest lives possible. We have registration options for everyone—the serious runner, walker, kids, and those who wish to participate virtually. A bib and shirt are included in the registration fee. Fundraise and win some cool prizes!
