• Children's Day Services:
  Assist our therapists in play-time and learning activities with young children with special needs.
  
  Clearbrook’s Children’s Services (3705 Pheasant Drive) in Rolling Meadows
  Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  
  
• Parents Night Out:
  Join Clearbrook’s staff in activities with children with special needs and their siblings to give parents a break from care giving.

  The second Friday night of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  Upcoming dates are: Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 12, 2008; Jan. 9, Feb. 13, Mar. 13, Apr. 10, May 8 and June 12, 2009
  
  
• Take A Break Volunteer Program:
  Our Take A Break Volunteers provide weekly respite relief for families of children with special needs. Volunteers participate in a training program and CPR/First Aid course; a six-month commitment to the program is requested. For dates of next respite training sessions and registration, please contact tyurik@clearbrook.org at 847-385-5028. Ask about our newest program, Take A Break in the Afternoon.
  
  
• Adult Day Services & Residential Programs:
  Befriend an adult with disabilities by participating together in an activity such as: arts and crafts, chimes and music, community outings, computer lab, hair styling, horticulture, sewing,lifeguard/swim therapy, lunch/feeding, physical therapy, and woodworking.
  
  Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  
  
• Practically Perfect Resale Shop:
  Volunteers needed to help sort, prepare and display donated merchandise, maintain order and cleanliness, assist customers and help with other tasks.
  
  Practically Perfect Resale Shop(1815 W. Central Road) in Arlington Heights.
  Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  
  
• Service Projects:
  Organize a beautification project at one of Clearbrook's group homes or day facilities.
  
  
• Weekly Bingo:
  Help with sales of bingo cards, raffles & pull tabs, and in kitchen services at charity bingo.
  
  Clearbrook's Getz Building (746 S. Vermont) in Palatine
  Every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
