Clearbrook is a non-profit organization devoted to enhancing the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Opportunities and experiences abound at Clearbrook for people with such diagnoses as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and mental retardation.

Since Clearbrook's founding in 1955, the number of clients that have received services and support has grown to nearly 3,000 each year - and the number is climbing.

Clearbrook offers programs and services both in-home and at more than 40 locations in 80 communities in the Chicagoland-area. Clearbrook empowers people with disabilities to live their lives to their fullest potential. Here is a snapshot of the services we offer to our clients and their families:

Developmental Training: Our full day programs emphasize new skills and community integration.

Employment: We offer experiences and opportunities in a meaningful work environment.

Residential: From one person homes to a 92-bed facility, we offer options for our clients to call "home".

Children's: Our interdisiplinary, family-focused approach is the hallmark of this program.

Clinical: We provide a full complement of therapies and professional services.

Although a portion of our funding comes from state and federal governments, we also rely on private support and volunteers so we can continue strengthening our wide menu of services.
