Acme Refining Shows “Tons” of Support

For more than a decade, Acme Refining – one of the Midwest’s largest scrap companies – has been demonstrating industrial-strength support to Clearbrook. Chicago-based Acme Refining has over 35 years in the business, starting as a scrap metal and processing company, and over the years expanding its services to paper and cardboard, plastics, demolition, oil and waste removal, and document destruction. They offer tough products with warm and friendly employees at the center of it all.
A company that treats its customers and employees like family, Acme Refining has been one of the top Clearbrook sponsors at the black-tie First Look for Charity at the Auto Show. According to Acme Refining salesperson Tom Miller, “Our customers are our friends. We know many of them love cars and an invite to the First Look for Charity is something they truly appreciate. It’s wonderful that we can support Clearbrook, while thanking our customers for their business.” Employees of the scrap metal company are also invited to the First Look for Charity. Tom joked, “We call it ‘prom night’ around here.”
In addition to the First Look for Charity, Acme Refining has supported our Women’s Classic golf event, Friends of Clearbrook wine tasting and Shining Star Ball. Yet another demonstration of support is currently in the planning stages. By granting us access to greater resources, Clearbrook will soon expand our document shredding services through a partnership with Acme Refining.
